College of Nursing Application for Non-Matriculated (Non-Degree) Status
The College of Nursing welcomes applications for non-matriculated status from candidates who possess a bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent. Only U.S. citizens and Permanent Residents are eligible for non-matriculated status. Advanced Certificate candidates may not apply for non-matriculated status. An
official college transcript
noting BSN degree conferral and a non-refundable application fee of $75.00 in the form of a check or money order made payable to New York University must be submitted with this application.
Non-matriculated students are limited to a total 9 credits (graduate) in this status. Approval to take courses as a non-matriculated student does not constitute admission to a degree program nor does it guarantee enrollment in a particular course, as some courses are restricted to matriculated students. Non-matriculated students are given approval to register for courses
the orientation/registration period for newly admitted and matriculated students. More information about the non-matriculated program can be found here.
A completed application and required materials must be received by:
May 1 for the summer semester (May- August)
August 1 for the fall semester (September - December)
December 1 for the spring semester (January - May)
Applications will not be processed until after the noted application deadlines. Upon submission of this application, please mail the required fee and official transcript(s) to:
