Facebook and Google+ Policies of College Instructors

We are conducting a study on social networking policies of instructors in higher education. We are interested in determining whether instructors set policies for interacting with students outside of class on social media, and the variation in those policies. We thank you in advance for your thoughtful and candid contributions.
The research is in the form of a survey. Most of the questions are multiple choice, but some will allow for free responses should you choose give more detail. The survey should take less than ten minutes to complete.
There is no anticipated discomfort for those contributing to this study, so risk to participants is minimal.
If you consent to being contacted for a follow-up interview you may provide your email address at the end of the survey. Otherwise, your identity will be anonymous to us. Should we follow up, we will not use your name or other identifying information in any publication resulting from the survey.
Your decision to take part in this research study is entirely voluntary.
